BC Land Value Tax Panels — Victoria and Vancouver

Last week, we held 2 panel event meetups for Housing and Land Value Tax in BC, drawing advocates from numerous sectors — policy, academia, technology, business, housing — together to debate and discuss land value tax. Among them were people from Victoria City Council, TransLink, BC Pension, BC General Employees' Union, UBC, UVic, SFU, BC Policy, CCPA, Strong Towns, Common Ground USA, and multiple political parties.

It’s humbling to be surrounded by so many in influential positions who understand and are willing to advocate for sharing community-generated wealth. Another reminder that BC is a frontier for these ideas to reach the political mainstream in Canada.
